Exchanges & Returns
Nyman Jewelers exists to satisfy its customers. Unless otherwise specified below, your purchase may be returned or exchanged for other Nyman Jewelers items, a refund, or store credit within 30 days of the original purchase. The items must be unused and unworn, in original condition, and in the original gift box with all warranty cards and explanation booklets intact. Sale items, special orders, completed layaways, modified and or custom pieces are not returnable or exchangeable. Gift recipients will be issued a merchandise credit only. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.
Special Orders
We regret that special orders are not returnable, and that no refund or exchange can be made. All special orders require a 50% nonrefundable deposit. A special order includes any jewelry, gemstone, watch, or gift item ordered or altered at the clients request. Custom work is treated as a special order.
Layaways
Layaways require a minimal deposit of 10% and a monthy payment of any amount. No time limit on layaways; however, we prefer not to exceed (1) year. If no payment is made for 60 days, item will be returned to stock and deposits forfeited. If item no longer wanted, deposit is refunded ithin 30 days, with a receipt. Beyond 30 days, a store credit will be issued.
Returned Checks
Returned cheks will be assessed with a $35.00 service fee
Repairs
Most of our repairs are done in store. If your ring has to be sent out, you will know before you leave your piece with us. We guarantee our work. Each repair job is different, therefore we will guarantee where we work for a period of six months. With the exception of eyeglasses, they are guaranteed for only 30 days. This is with the exception of excess wear, exposure to bleach or chlorine.
